Career Development

Our students will succeed in a much different future from the one we envisioned 10 or 15 years ago. It is our responsibility to prepare all children for success in whatever life path they choose, connecting learning opportunities with future career possibilities. We know that real-life experiences - like community involvement, gaining business knowledge, and hands-on-learning - build better students and life-long citizens.

Abbotsford Middle is an IB school where we strive for students to gain characteristics from the Learning Profile. One such characteristic is that of the Inquirer whereby students nurture their curiosity and a love for learning. In grade 8 science class, students used an array of different materials to create their own replica of a cell. As an IB school, one of our learning principles at Abbotsford Middle is being balanced.  Here two students practice balance during one of our passion blocks.
