Grade 8 Learning Support Team

In the grade 8 learning services support program, our goal is to develop academic, social, physical and emotional strength in students so that all students are achieving the grade 8 learning outcomes.  Through assessment, we identify students who may need extra support and then meet with parents to discuss a plan for various school, district and community supports.  Some students need a short intervention and others need continued support.  Some of the supports available to students are…

We also make sure that students have a smooth transition into high school by taking students on tours, course planning, and coordinating with the high school support programs.
