BANDITS GAME - Whole School

Hello Parents/Guardians of Abbotsford Middle School Students, 

Here at Abby Middle, we are always excited to offer field trips and learning experiences for students that go beyond the classroom.  This May, all Abbotsford Middle School students have the opportunity to travel to the Langley Events Center (https://www.langleyeventscentre.com/) and experience a Canadian Elite Basketball League professional basketball game, courtesy of the Vancouver Bandits! (https://www.thebandits.ca/)

Every year, the Bandits host a School Day Game, where schools throughout the region are invited to witness and be a part of a professional basketball game.  This year, we are fortunate to have the opportunity to be a part of this great experience once again. The game will be played on THURSDAY MAY 8, 2025, with an 11:00am tip-off.

In consultation with the Vancouver Bandits, we have created a tentative itinerary for our trip:

As noted on the itinerary, this field trip is during the school day, with students arriving back to Abbotsford Middle at approximately 1:30pm.  The cost of this field trip will be $15.00, with payment and consent available through our secure online payment portal – www.abbotsford.schoolcashonline.com. Payment and consent deadline is April 4^th, 2025.

For an enjoyable experience at the Vancouver Bandits basketball game, students will need, but are not limited to:

• Bagged Lunch
• Money for to purchase food items at concession (optional)
• Appropriate shoes for walking
• Appropriate clothing for the weather
