Registration Process

For Prospective Students

Registrations for the 2021/22 school year will be accepted beginning on February 1, 2021 at 7:30am.  For the week of Feb 1-5 we will not be accepting electronic registrations, but will only accept them "In-Person".  COVID Protocols will be followed to meet Physical Distancing guidelines.  Starting the week of Feb 8th, we will accept both In-Person and Electronic Registrations.

If your child/children attend Centennial Park Elementary, Dormick Park Elementary, Jackson Elementary, Alexander Elementary, Upper Sumas, Barrowtown. or Godson Elementary and you live in Abby Middle catchment area then your child/children are automatically registered at Abby Middle. No registration needs to be completed.

If you live in Abby Middle catchment area, and your child attends a Traditional or Private School, please use the  school locator to confirm which school your child should register at.  In order to assist with physical distancing and limiting the spread of COVID-19, the district’s Student Registration Forms have been updated into a fillable format to assist with this. Please scan the completed registration form,  along with a copy of your child’s/children’s birth certificate or passport, your child’s/children’s most recent report card and two documents to verify your address (please note that we do not accept Driver's Licenses, Rental Agreements, or Bank Statements as proof of address). We accept Utility bill, Mortgage Document, Property Sale Agreement, Property Tax notice/Assessment, Revenue Canada, Credit Card Statement or Governement document. Please note that right now Abbotsford Middle is a closed catchment school.  That means that we are not accepting new non-catchment students.
